Instead, he had secretly taken photos of him, which he later revealed when they were already a couple. Upon leaving Beirut Airport, they were stopped by Immigration Police and informed they had been blacklisted due to content they had posted online during their trip. Lebanon’s anti-gay laws prohibit such activity, highlighting the need for awareness and discretion. From this experience, they learned a valuable lesson about understanding and respecting local laws, particularly when traveling as a queer couple in regions with restrictive policies.
Through every trip, they remind others that, with the right mindset and preparation, it’s possible to explore the world confidently and joyfully—while staying true to one’s identity.
