Alessia Tresoldi, The Art of Authentic Influence

Alessia Tresoldi, a UK-based influencer, shares her journey in the digital space, her inspirations, and the challenges she faces as a creator. From blending French and Italian cultural aesthetics to navigating brand collaborations, Alessia opens up about her approach to authenticity and building a strong connection with her audience.

Alessia’s journey into the digital world began organically. “Honestly, it started pretty naturally, I just wanted to share my world with people. I began by posting behind-the-scenes moments, like backstage glimpses from my modelling work, and giving my followers a peek into my life beyond the photos. I shared snippets of my day-to-day life, my hobbies, casual moments, and even my studies. I think that sense of curiosity and authenticity really drew people in. It wasn’t about being perfect; it was about being real, and that’s what helped me connect with others from the beginning,” she says.

For Alessia, her content is deeply influenced by French and Italian culture, a reflection of her personal aesthetic. “French and Italian culture are just a part of what my aesthetics can be, so they come through in everything I do. From my love for Italian and French fashion and lifestyle, I try to make my content a little journey. I want people to feel like they’re right there with me, whether I’m at a cozy café, exploring a new city, or at home. I think the beauty is in those everyday moments—things anyone can relate to,” Alessia explains.

Consistency is key in her online presence, but it comes with its own challenges. “One big challenge is learning when to say no, especially when it comes to brand collaborations. I’m really selective and want to be sure I genuinely like and believe in what I’m sharing. I’ve also learned to ignore negativity or haters because that can be distracting if you let it. Staying true to myself and focusing on creating content I’m proud of helps me keep that consistency, even when there are challenges,” she says.

When asked about balancing aesthetics with real-life moments, Alessia highlights the importance of authenticity. “For me, real life is my aesthetic. I don’t try to over-edit or make things look too perfect. I want my content to reflect my life as it is—the good, the messy, and everything in between. My online world and my real life blend together, and that’s the balance that feels right. It’s not about creating a ‘perfect’ feed but about sharing moments that are real and meaningful to me,” she explains.

Over the years, Alessia’s approach to content creation has naturally evolved. “My approach has definitely evolved, and it’s all been very natural. As I’ve gotten to know my followers better, I feel like we’re creating something together. I listen to their feedback, engage in real conversations, and I feel a deeper connection with them. It’s not just about posting photos; it’s about sharing parts of my life that I know they’ll connect with. We’re in this together, and that makes it so much more fun to share my journey,” she shares.

Staying authentic and connected to her audience is central to Alessia’s strategy. “For me, it’s all about being myself. It sounds simple, but I think that’s what makes the difference. Social media is full of people trying to be what they think others want, but I believe that just being true to yourself is what people connect with. I always say that everyone has something unique to offer, so don’t hide it! Authenticity is what keeps people coming back, and I’m so grateful for the amazing community I’ve built by just being me,” she says.

When offering advice to aspiring influencers in France, Alessia emphasises the importance of starting with passion and authenticity. “My best advice is not to overthink it, just start. Don’t worry about what others might say or how they might judge you. If you’re sharing what you love and staying true to yourself, people will appreciate it. And honestly, there’s no rush to ‘make it.’ Focus on enjoying the process and building something for yourself first,” she advises.

For brand partnerships, Alessia takes a thoughtful approach. “I’m lucky enough to have the freedom to choose who I work with, so I only partner with brands that really resonate with me. I always try to make it feel personal and true to my style, and also as my initial job as a model. I don’t want it to feel like a commercial; I want it to feel like a natural part of my life and passion. I think that’s the key to keeping things fresh and authentic—it’s about working with brands in a way that feels right for me and my followers,” she shares.

While trends often guide digital spaces, Alessia remains grounded in her passions. “I don’t really chase trends; I’m more about following my passions and sharing them with my followers. Trends are fun, but they come and go. For me, it’s about staying true to what I love and incorporating new things that feel right. That said, I’m always open to new experiences and collaborations that align with my values. Being the cover girl for this edition, for example, is such a great way to share something fresh and exciting with my community,” she says.

As for her future, Alessia is focused on meaningful growth. “I’m always up for new adventures and trying new things. I’ll definitely keep an eye on what’s new and exciting, but only if it feels like a natural fit for me. I’m excited to see what’s ahead and to keep growing with my followers, always looking for ways to create content that feels meaningful and real for both of us,” she says.

Alessia also highlights her recent book release, Hell Figlia di Lilith 1-2, as one of her proudest accomplishments. “This project has been incredibly special to me, and I’ve put so much time, passion, and creativity into it. It’s been a journey, and I’m really proud of what it’s become. For next year, I’m considering translating the book into English, although I’m still weighing my options. I want to make sure it’s done in a way that preserves the depth and emotion I put into the original,” she shares.
